I’ve often been asked, “Who do you think you are?” Usually it’s when I’m in trouble and have said something I shouldn’t have said. Hey, it happens. The simple answer to that question is “I am me.” I am somewhat of an enigma, really. I have a hard exterior, but a really mushy interior. What do I mean? I’m tough as nails on the outside. I don’t show my true colors to very many people, so to speak.
See, I don’t like to let the world know who I really am. I like to appear tough. That way, nobody messes with me, nobody gets close, and nobody can hurt me. But inside… inside is a totally different story. Those special few who have managed to find their way within my walls can attest to that, I’m sure. Once you get to know me, I’m a big teddy bear.
